Who We Are
Middle School Youth Ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is open to any student in the 6th-8th grades. Our focus is on providing a safe, fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. We endeavor to speak to the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth. Middle School Youth Ministry answers the needs of this age group in a catechetical, fun, and relevant way and provides a foundation for youth to continue on to High School.
Thursday Evening Gatherings |
Thursday Evening Gatherings are the foundation of our Middle School Ministry. We meet in Marion Hall at School of the Incarnation on Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:45pm, concurrent with K-5 Faith Formation classes. Our program combines catechesis with community building, small group discussions, prayer, and of course, an element of fun!
Each year's Thursday Evening Gatherings are divided into three or four thematic semesters. Semesters focus on different topics, but each gathering includes catechesis, scripture and how both relate personally to the lives of the youth. |
